The Future IS Female Poster

This may be one of my favorite projects I created.  I used Adobe Illustrator to create this.  My mind making this was that I wanted to chose a picture of me looking fierce, confident, and strong.  Step two was to pick out a color palette that would be very feminine.  When creating this I started thinking of quotes that would fit a strong picture of a woman with stereotypical feminine colors.  I found the quote "the future is female" and knew it would be perfect.  I was meticulous in my fonts and colors.  I couldn't have been more proud of how this turned out.

Multiplicity

For the this multiplicity project, when I heard we had to place ourselves in a space 6 different times, I just knew I had to use my kitten, Zara.  She was definitely a pain to keep still especially in her cowgirl hat and mermaid costume, but it was really fun and cute in the end.  I used Adobe Photoshop for this and am happy with my execution.  I also added shadows to make it look more realistic.

Black and White to Color

For this project, I used Adobe Photoshop to turn a selfie into three different color palettes.  I had to outline and create masks for each individual part of the photo, which was very time consuming.  Although it looks extremely unrealistic, and creepy, it is kind of cool, especially knowing the work that came out of it.  I really enjoy my last color palette the best just because I think the colors compliment each other well.

Euphoria Somewhere

For this project, we used Adobe Photoshop to place ourselves into the scene of a show/film/picture.  First of all, Euphoria is one of my favorite shows, so this was an easy choice.  I added my original picture to the blog to show my process.  I did my makeup specific to the scene, and it was a lot of fun.  I played with purple eyeshadow, purple highlight on my face and chin, and even used little diamonds around my eyes.  I turned off all of my lights and had one blue light and one purple to create the original photo.  I am extremely happy with the outcome, and the process I took to make this was definitely the most fun.
