Autoscopy Helping Hand

My autoscopy project has a deep meaning behind it, which made it very valuable to me.  I made this in Adobe Photoshop.  We had to take a photo of ourselves and twist it and edit it to tell a story.  I have dealt with anxiety and depression for a while now, so I wanted to do something with this topic.  I sat in my shower with the water running down my face and then edited it with a dark color palette.  I added more droplets of water and a large scale hand in front of my face to show no matter how lonely you may be, there might be help right in front of you.  This project was very rewarding to me because of how meaningful it was to me.

Portfolio

Creating my portfolio brought back many memories.  It made me very thankful for my patience and creativity.  At times, I wanted to give up, and stop, but I never did in any one of these projects even the most tedious ones.  I'm so proud of myself for putting in all my hard work and creating some pretty amazing stuff.  With this semester coming to an end, I want to continue the work ethic this class made me achieve.  I want to say thank you to Santiago for pushing me, and becoming proud of my work.

Calligram

For my calligram, I took a selfie and turned it into a bunch of words describing myself using Adobe Illustrator.  I enjoy how from far, away you can tell it's me but when you zoom in you notice every little detail is out of words and I think that was a really cool project to do.  I am not the most proud of this one, and it definitely wasn't my favorite to make; however, I still am pleasantly surprised with how it turned out and my work ethic throughout making it.

Multiplicity

For the this multiplicity project, when I heard we had to place ourselves in a space 6 different times, I just knew I had to use my kitten, Zara.  She was definitely a pain to keep still especially in her cowgirl hat and mermaid costume, but it was really fun and cute in the end.  I used Adobe Photoshop for this and am happy with my execution.  I also added shadows to make it look more realistic.
